TEAM CHISELING LOU'S

ABOUT US

Team Chiseling Lou’s was formed in 2020 by Julie Chisel Labonte, out of a desire to do more than just ride miles on a bike.

She wanted to be part of a team that truly rode with a purpose – a team that stood for something bigger than itself.

When Julie couldn’t find that, she decided to build it.

By combining forces with a few like-minded riders who all shared the same passion for making an impact, Chiseling Lou’s was born.

The name Chiseling Lou’s carries deep personal meaning for Julie.

Julies nickname is “Chisel” and “Lou” comes from Julies grandmother Lucienne, who lived with Multiple Sclerosis for more than 50yrs.

Lucienne was strong, resilient, and inspiring – everything that Chiseling Lou’s represents.

Today “Lou” is more than just a name.

Anyone we ride for, and anyone living with MS, is a “Lou” in our eyes.

In that first year of forming Chiseling Lou’s began with 41 riders and raised an incredible $36,000.

What began as a small group with big heart has continued to grow year after year.

By 2025 Chiseling Lou’s had grown to 75 riders and raised $100,360.25 for the MS community.

As we move into 2026, our goals are bigger than ever – 100 riders and $150,000 raised to support research, resources, and hope for those effected by MS.

Chiseling Lou’s is more than a cycling team. It’s a family, a mission, and a reminder that every mile matters when you ride for something greater.
